July// Photo Dump

Here we are, another month nearly gone!
I don't know about the rest of you, but my month of July was buuuuuuusy.
Besides Independence Day celebrations, I went to family gatherings, work, an annual church convention, spent a lot of days on Grandpa's 46', clearing, chopping and loading wood, spreading bark chips and sand.... I've been busy.
I have a decent sized dump this time, and if you make it through the whole thing, I'll give you a slice of blueberry pie *wink*

On with the photo dump!

Mirror selfie on a hot day

Moments:

Playing 'Bump' for the first time in years and actually staying in the game for a while. *flexes muscles*

Kirsten: 'They're both the same in different ways."

Sitting in the van on the way from the airport, discussing the official date of the end of the Great Depression and debating with your siblings..... Homeschoolers.

Great-Aunt Becka: "It was a cottonhead!"
My dad: "A what?"
Becka: "Cottonhead! Coppermouth? I don't know. One of those wretched serpents."

A cousin from down South says it's so dry here, it's sucking the water from his lungs.
You have moisture in your lungs? Isn't that pneumonia?

Cousin: "Uh-oh, I better go help that kid." takes off running to assist her little brother
Her baby brother Joshua, swaying back and forth on his chair, sings softly, "Help. Help. Help this kid."

Laughing at Great-Aunt Becka's stories and loving the way she describes the humidity in South Carolina.
"The air.... you can chew on it."

And how was your July?

Do you like prefer Iced Tea or Iced Coffee?

Oh, yes, and here's your slice of pie. Eat it in good health. ;P
